From 1989 to 1995 Jan was a director of the Cariboo Real Estate Association (President in 1993/1994). This also involved a term as director of the B.C. Real Estate Association.

ACTIVE

Thinking she might be bored with 'just' Real Estate, Jan took on the job as Chair of the BCREA "Convention '96", believing that old adage "Give it to a busy person etc...". It was busy, fun, informative and challenging--- all the things Jan thrives on.

PERSONAL

Don and Jan have been married 32 years, have 1 daughter and 3 sons, (three are married) and are proud grandparents of Craig Lyall Thompson and his little sister Jenna Mary Lynn Thompson in Nanaimo and Emily Jane Thompson in Winnipeg.
